Project: recreation zone in Metsamor
In the project for Metsamor, where nuclear power is a mainstay, suggested by Lilit Simonyan, student of the National University of Architecture and Construction, the focus is the connection between humans and environment and the duality of emotional and rational thinking.

The project, which is more conceptual, is envisioned for the north-eastern part of the town. The locale, which is relatively underdeveloped, is deprived of some suburban features owing to some aesthetic solutions applied here in the past. According to the master plan, the used territory had an initial development plan, which was remained unfulfilled.

The new project Lilit suggests envisions organization of a recreation zone in the territory: restrained aesthetically and emotionally, it will be complemented by rational component.
